Browser push notifications in the Protegus 2 app

We are pleased to announce a much-anticipated new feature of the Protegus 2 app: push notifications are now available in the browser too.

What has changed?

Until now, push notifications worked only on mobile phones — on Android and iOS systems. When Protegus 2 was opened in a browser, notifications did not appear. That limitation is now gone: the browser can also receive attention-grabbing push alerts.

Why is this useful?

In many cases Protegus 2 is used through a browser for basic monitoring — for example at larger sites or by security services. With browser push notifications, these situations are now complemented by real-time, attention-grabbing alerts.

How to enable it?

No separate setup is required: on first use the browser automatically asks for permission to display notifications, which you need to approve here. If all notifications are blocked in the browser, you must first enable them in the browser settings.
